Dear Rosetta,

3 examples of how to use vibhuti, from my experiences last week in

London, at Amma's program :

1. I asked Swamiji how to use the vibhuti that Amma gives me. He

said to put a little (very small amount at one time) on: the tip of

my tongue, on the spot in the middle of the forhead (ajina cakra),

on the throat cakra, and on the heart cakra. I now do this once a

day.

2. One woman (Icelandic, about 60 yrs. old) seeing Amma for the

first time, and asking Amma in question line how to heal her

physical health problems, got vibhuti . Amma told her to put it on

the spot where she had an old , painful back injury.

3. A man (British, of eastern ancestry , about 54 yrs. old) ,

seeing Amma for the first time, and with the breath of alcohol on him

( and not quite sober), and in a lot of mental and emotional pain

because he could not overcome his drinking problem, got vibhuti from

Amma during darshan. He asked me how he should use it. I took him to

ask Swamiji . Swamiji told the man to put a very small amount on his

tongue once a day.

Swamiji was very available in the darshan hall, to answer my

questions about vibhuti. If one has the opportunity to ask him, or

Amma directly about how to use vibhuti, in my opinion, that is best.

In Amma,

Sarama

__________

Using vibhuti or water blessed by Amma, we've chanted:

How do you use the vibhuti? Do you apply it to whatever part of

the body is hurting, or use it in another way?

Thank you -- all of these stories are wonderful to read!
