I have wondered about that change, about what will happen. The result will depend on how clear we are about what Amma is demonstrating to us. Dear Aikya ~ first, I agree with everything you said about Amma's devotees not being part of a cult ... very eloquent. This sentence above confused me and alarmed me a bit. Has Amma made any references to mahasamhadi? Where did this come from? Thank you. Jai Ma ~ Linda
Guest guest
Dear Linda, in former years Amma has often said mahasamadhi is near. She says something like this when people are not using the precious opportunity of being with her properly. About 10 years ago she said that she'll have a difficult time around 42 and go into Mahasamadhi or become very old. She promised also to give darshan until her last breath. As far as I know her health is ok right now and she didn't complain while giving darshan in Mannheim. In India her doctors made a x-ray of her arm some time ago. The bones and joints of her right arm are in a condition of a 60 year old person. In years to come that will be a problem from a purely materialistic viewpoint. But in her case one never knows. Her diabetis is also fluctuating. I am not a doctor but I think that is unusual to say the least. People in India are very attached to her outer form. In order to make them understand that she is not confined to her body she is talking about mahasamadhi. In any case be shure that your honest devotion and spiritual practice will attract her grace no matter if she is far or near in her body as Ammachi or not. Greetings from Germany Lutz P.S. We had a great program in Mannheim (Germany)with her. With more than 4000 the devi bhava lasted until 10.00 AM enjoy some pictures http://www.amma.de/tour/amma/eu_mannheim_fotos.html Ammachi, nierika@a... wrote: > > Aikya wrote: > > Another person referred to Amma's still being alive, the condition > of the organization while she is still in the body. I would have thought that after all those years of hugging, Her arms would have been more like Governator Arnie's. Doesnt excercise build muscle? :-). Strange indeed is maya. The Divine Doctor who heals everyone else around and some from very fatal diseases, needs healing? I dont think so. If Amma's were an ordinary human body, it would have bitten the dust a long time ago. -yogaman
