Dear Group, I only have received a few names, but I believe it is a good time to start. I am going to include some suggestions, which have been contributed by the group, list the names, and hopefully, you'll have this later today or early tomorrow. To Begin, I believe it would be a good idea to outwardly (verbally) or inwardly, whichever suits the individual person, state the intention that "I am saying this prayer for these people," and then to outwardly or inwardly say their names. The names for this week's Prayer Group are: Bob & Vicki woodyard Valerie Harwood Prajna Prajna's grandmother Christine prasadini Dixie Linda Rae Pat Mackey MaryBeth Talbott Then people can proceed with their prayer, whatever they wish it to be. Some of the suggestions are: * to say the Aum Amriteswaryai Namah (a mala or as many or as few as is comfortable) * to say your own mantra given by Amma, or some other mantra you feel especially drawn to * to say the 108 Names of Amma * to pray in any other way that suits you * to say the Mahamrtumjaya Mantra (I suggest 21 times, but again, as many or as few as is comfortable. I would like to suggest, and again this is only a suggestion that people can do or not do, that we end with: Om Lokah Samistha Sukino Bhavantu (May all Beings be Happy) and Shant Shanti Shanti I would appreciate any feedback the group has to offer, especially those who choose to participate. We are off, in Amma's name... Jai Ma ~ Linda
Guest guest
Please add Yun. If this isn't the correct spelling, Amma knows who she is. BTW, a person's name that was on one Sat. night's list at the MA Ctr, has shown a very significant improvement. nierika wrote: To the Group on Beginning the Prayer Group, Sweta wrote: Do you think it would be O.K. for each of us to tailor the chants as we feel is best?
