The next year I went with a friend who stayed at the program with me all night. It was Devi Bhava and when I went up for my first darshan, Amma put Her hands over Her eyes like a small child playing hide and go seek, then peeked out from Her fingers and said in english, "You found me!" The rest is history.... So today I was going through my family's basement and I came across a box...And there was the photo from the altar, of Amma, that I had gazed at for so many years growing up, as well as some other photos of Amma in the tiny house where he'd met Her, some really sweet, rare pictures that I will scan and post to the group when I get back to LA. So the story comes full circle.... Jai Ma! Dear Prajna, Reading your "story" brought a storm of tears to my eyes. I want my Mother. It has been too long since I have seen Her. Thank you so much. Each of these stories only adds to my resolve that I will get to Santa Fe or Albequerque, whichever She chooses as Her southwest visiting place, even if I have to drag myself there. Jai Jai Ma ~ Linda P.S. I am still crying.
