Guest guest
Om Namah Shivayah, This is a popular question with my yoga students, but I do recall that in "On the Road to Freedom" Vol 2, Swami Paramatmananda recalls Amma eating fish that a devotee had served when Amma visited her house. He wrote that although Amma is vegetarian, She ate it because it would have hurt the feelings of that devotee had She refused it. Swami, however was disgusted and did not have any. He became nauseous with the smell and asked for some water. Amma gave him a bowl of water, and he was amazed that the water smelled and tasted like roses. Then Amma pointed out that that was the water She had washed Her hands with after eating the fish! love, Prajna
