Guest guest
Om Namah Shivayah! I design/make sterling silver photo jewelry (check out www.planetjill.com for samples). I've made a few pieces for myself with Amma pictures - neckalces, bracelets, etc. They are very high quality and completely waterproof. I love the jewelry they sell at the ashram, but it's not the most durable, so I wanted to make a necklace for my friend Anaghan, maybe some San Ramon devotees know him? He's the really sweet Brazillian guy who's always dancing. He really loves Swami Purnamritananda (so do I, he's just radiant, isn't he?), so I'm making a double-sided charm with Swami on one side and Amma on the other. I actually would really love to design a collection of Amma jewelry for them to sell on the website or at the ashram, but I don't know how to go about proposing that. Any suggestions? Thank you so much everyone for sending in those photos, I'll take a scan of the finished project so you can all see. By the by, I've just begun reading the Upanishads. Is anyone here fairly well-versed in them and willing to discuss? I'm full of questions, as usual. May Amma shower us all with Her grace, Prajna
Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya: A friend of a friend in Dallas, Texas asked Swamini Krishnamrita at a Dallas tour stop if he could sell night lights with Amma's image coated over them. I was present during this exchange. Swamini (the attendant always near Amma) said it should not be done. He would be violating Amma's copywright. Please check with the Ammachi.org legal people before proceeding. Amma will know if you go around this process. Sorry for the sobering news.
