O my beloved Amma, do not forget me. This is a hard time for me. I

feel very sad. I do not see your face or feel your touch. Do not

let this child become lost in the darkness. You are the love and

light of my life. Fold your arms around me now since I feel lost.

Wipe away my tears. Soothe my frightened mind. Mother, never let

me forget you.

Mother, who was born in a fishing village and who calmed the see,

bring me peace.

Mother, who travels around the world to bless her children, surround

me with light and love so I feel safe.

Mother, who cured Dattan the leper, take away my fear and give me

steady faith that you love and care for me at all times and in all

conditions.

Mother, who was abused by her parents as a child yet now changes the

world with love, take away the pain of my past so I can do good from

today onward.

Mother who is short in physical stature but immense in power and

grace, don't let my limitations stop me from doing good.

Mother, who has hugged millions of my brothers and sisters, awaken

love within my heart so I can serve your creation and your children.

Mother may every place remind me of where I first heard of you. May

I see you yourself only in every person I meet. May I do every task

I need to do with love and care as if it is service to you alone.

Peace to my mind. Peace to all around me. Peace to the unknown and

unexpected.

Did you write this yourself? If you did, please say

so (it's a very nice piece of writing). If not, it's

a good idea to include the source, such as the URL of

the website from which it was found.
