Masters do dress differently , Some may keep beard and grow hair ..Some may keep clean shave & head ( like ISKCON ) .. Many of the masters and swamies are doing that just beacuse it is a kind of UNIFORM for them . It helps many of their disciples to have a devotional feeling . All meant for the growth of the followers. There were many enlightened people like jidhu krishna murthi and all who were dressing like normal people and were focussing on the jnana marga ( Path of knowledge ). So drop the plans of spiritual optimizations through hair dressing ) ..
