Mata to visit Thrissur

THRISSUR, APRIL 1. Mata Amritanandamayi, head of the

Amritanandamayi Math, will arrive here on April 9 on a

three-day visit. The Mata will take part in the

consecration of the Brahmasthana Kshetra here.

 

Discourses by the Mata will be held at 11 a.m. and 7

p.m. from April 9 to 11. She will meet devotees after

the discourses.

 

The following pujas will be held: Chovva Dosha

Nivarana Puja (at 5-30 p.m. on April 10); Rahu Dosha

Nivarana Puja (at 7 p.m. on April 11); Sani Dosha

Nivarana Puja (at 5-30 p.m. on April 11) and

Udayastamana Lalita Sahasranamarchana (from 6 a.m. to

6 p.m. on April 9, 10 and 11).

 

Those who wish to take part in the pujas should

register their names with the Math here (telephone

numbers: 2362700, 2366066, 2361611), members of the

organising committee said at a press conference here

on Thursday.
