Kisses

A strange thing happened while I was at work today. I wanted to share

the story with you all.

 

I have a picture of Amma on my desk at work, tucked next to the

monitor near the wall where it won't raise too many questions. (I

had a lot of "is that your mother-in-law" questions.) I also have two

blessed Kisses that I keep on the bottom ledge of the picture frame.

I'm not sure why I left them there, maybe I felt comfortable knowing

that Amma was only one second away at all times during my stressful days.

 

Anyway, my co-worker was having a REALLY stressful and particularly

difficult day today. She was at my office door, telling me the details

of the situation. She suddenly turned and went looking into the other

offices. I asked what she was looking for and she said, "Hershey

kisses. I thought I saw Hershey kisses a minute ago. Do you know who

has Hershey kisses in their office?" My mouth dropped open. I said,

"There are no Hershey kisses here except for these two," and pointed

next to the monitor. She asked where they were because she couldn't

see them from where she was standing. She had to come behind my desk

to see the kisses! I gave one to her and told her that it was a

blessed kiss. (She and I have talked about Amma before but she has

never met Amma or anything.)

 

My co-worker then said, "Amma must have wanted me to have it. I had

this sudden urge that I HAD to have a Hershey kiss!"

 

After she ate the kiss, the phone call she had been waiting on for six

and a half hours came through and with good news at that.
