Guest guest
Last year an issue was raised by a devotee who attended the NYC programs about the program hall being wheelchair accessible, while the dining area is not. I can't recall the name of the person who brought this to my attention last year, but if he or anyone else who is wheelchair-bound or otherwise not capable of navigating stairs is reading this... We were all genuinely so sorry to hear of a devotee going hungry because of this and have been discussing the situation. Anyone with such a disability who is attending Amma's NYC programs by himself or herself is invited to please speak with a greeter, who will arrange to have someone bring a meal upstairs for you. If you have a friend/family member with you, s/he can bring it up for you. We'll set up a small table in an accessible area for dining. Again, our apologies to Amma's children who were affected by this problem last year. Namah Shivaya, Iswari
