Dear DD,

It is rare that Amma gives fruit. You are lucky! :) And Amma kissed

you too. One of the best "not physically present" darshans ever. :)

I got an apple last November in Michigan, along with the most

intense darshan of my life. I was so blown away by getting this

apple that I didn't eat it for several days. I brought it home and

let it sit on my table. Every time I'd walk by, I'd think of the

amazing darshan I'd received.

In spite of your beliefs to the contrary, you are not what you think,

feel, say, do, have,

want or fear. You're actually the context or the space in which all of

those other things

appear to show up in. In short, you are what is. You are what creates

you. It's all happening

both within and AS you. So, instead of reacting out of your fear, you

need to learn how to

respond out of your love. Romantics are always looking for The One. But,

everywhere you go,

you're always (and only) meeting The One. Every one is The One. -- Chuck

I have also received fruit (usually apples) from Amma on several

occasions. Last year in Amritapuri She gave me an apple twice, one

of which I decided to give away, but the next time I went up to

receive darshan from Amma taking a packet of sweets She almost

refused to accept the packet -- as if She was upset at what I had

done. My understanding is if the Guru decides to give the gift of an

apple or whatever prasad to you then it is specifically for you, and

you should consume this yourself, though it is acceptable to share

some of it.
