Since my daughter's father is a marine biologist and she had been raised with a great affinity for the ocean and all it's beings, we were amazed that Amma "knew" that about her. Later the Swamis told me that Amma did not speak a word of English and they were astounded at Her darshan with my daughter when she spoke in English. By the way, the reason we went to take Amma's darshan was that I saw a little article in the paper announcing her visit. It mentioned her name, Mata Amritanandamayi. My daughter's name is Ananda Mae (pronounced anandamayi). When I was pregnant with her I got a clear message that that was the name I was to give her. Dear Pahari Maa ~ wow! There is nothing else to say. Now I'm saving every story about these kinds of experiences with Amma. I don't know why. I just feel like I'm supposed to do it. What will happen, where they will go or become, that is up to Amma. Blessings ~ Linda
Guest guest
Beloved Nierika, Please do keep up your writing and recording and artwork. Mahendranath Gupta (M.) probably did not know if his notes about Sri Ramakrishna would ever serve anyone. Look what a blessing they have become for thousands of people who learned about Sri Ramakrishna through his faithful note taking! I pray that your writing will serve Amma and all of Her Children.
