Guest guest
I'm unsure what the 108 names are? How do I find this? Is it on a CD or a book? Then what? Do I chant it every day? Thank you! Nama Shivaya Dana
Guest guest
You can find them printed in the Archana book, available at Mothersbooks.org. Also, they sell a CD called "Chants," where you can hear the names chanted aloud. Plus, it's also so worth having for Amma chanting Mahisasuramardini stotrum, and the Guru strotram! =) It's a beautiful practice to do daily, and once you learn them, it only takes 10-15 minutes at most. But do what feels right for you, or whatever Amma advises for you. =) Blessings, Iswari Ammachi, superblu7@a... wrote: > I'm unsure what the 108 names are? How do I find this? Guest guest
Dear Rick and Ardis: Sorry if I add some uncertainty to the discussion. My english translation of the 108 names of Mata Amritanandamayi is visibly different. For example numbers 56 through sixty refer directly to Sri Ramakrishna's consort Sri Sarada Devi. The Tampa Bay Site looks to be different. Am I off-base? Guest guest
My version is from Bhajan Book Volume One (an official M.A. Center publication). It is an old volume one now out of print. I am not sure if the newer volume one has the 108 names. The same version is in the white binder found in the back of the Hall at M.A. Center in San Ramon. Can anyone out there shed more light?. Perhaps the palm pilot version in the Amritapuri web site is identical. I do not have a palm pilot.
