Guest guest
Dear Divine Sister Sweta, if what u wanted was to know how "Hrim" is associated with Devi... this is all that i know... the syllable "Hrim" is associated with Devi, as it is supposed to indicate the creative, preservative & destructive aspects on the Devi. It falls into a category of syllables, called "beejakshara's", roughly translated as seed mantra syllable. there are several other beejaksharas associated with Devi... if u dont mind, may i know why u asked specifically about the syllable "Hrim"? Do you know why the bhajan states, that the sound "hrim" is associated with Kali? Thank you, Sweta Make your home page http://www./r/hs Aum Amriteswarayai Namaha! a.. Guest guest
Maybe "hrim" is associated with Kali because it relates to the dispelling/destroying of illusion and ignorance? Just a guess, now back to studying neurotransmitters! Blessings, Iswari Ammachi, "B. Guest guest
I have heard that beej mantras are like some kind of shortcut or something. Like if you say it with a mantra that you get some kind of siddhi, japa siddhi or something. But I don't know. Whenever I say it lots it makes my heart warm, so I like it. Ammachi, "B. Guest guest
Hrim is Maya beeja, the pranava for shaktas. Specifically Krim is the beeja for Kali, maybe thats why Swetaji was asking. Of course Amma is both Lalitha and Kali, maybe thats why Swamji used Hrim Kali, who knows. -yogaman ps. good luck for your exams, Iswari Ammachi, "ammasiswari" <ammasiswari> wrote: > Maybe "hrim" is associated with Kali because it relates to the dispelling/destroying of > illusion and ignorance? Guest guest
It could be a shortcut or a shortcircuit. Amma specifically told me that beejas like Hrim should not be chanted without initiation, I think it is covered in one of the books also. But I also believe that if you chant some beeja and something untoward happens, our Amma is the fallback plan LOL.
