Seeing Sri Karunamayi loosed something within me--and it took three

days for it to pry loose from my soul to explode on the surface of my

being. All of a sudden I ran to my bedroom and cried--I cried out to

Ammachi and I cried and cried and cried. And I felt Amma's hand on my

Dear Tabitha ~ thank you so much for sharing this incredible and inspiring

story with us, and ... welcome to the group. I too have seen Karunamayi, and

she is also a very powerful Mother. Sometimes, in Hindu culture, it is said we

have an upa guru. The upa guru is the guru who leads us to our true guru.

After reading your experience it seems that you have seen Ammachi and had her

darshan and that Karunamayi was the transcendent vehicle that took you to the
