Guest guest
in case anyone was wondering whether the Toronto devi bhava would equal or exceed last year's marathon, it didn't. ended around 10:15 am, and the tokens only went up to about 5900. Still a big show, but well down from going almost to noon, with well over 7000 tokens handed out. There were about 600 retreat registrants, also down from 2004. Apparently crowds were down compared to last year at several of the other U.S. cities public programs and retreats. Guest guest
Yes, nterestingly, I've heard that the programs in many of the cities were smaller/shorter this year. I can't remember it ever happening that a program was smaller/shorter than the year before. This year in NYC, although the morning programs went late, Amma actually finished the evening programs (at least one night) around 2am, which has been unheard of in recent years! Some of us were speculating as to why, though we're not really sure... Guest guest
Oh, Keval, or other Toronto devotees ... what color sari did Devi wear??? In Marlboro, Mass., aka "Boston," She wore a saffron orangey-red, with figurings of just a hint of lotus pink and emerald green woven into the golden borders. I think darshan went until 11:15 or 11:30 into the morning, or did someone mention that already? Swamijji sang that boat song that Iswari and so, so many of Mother's children love. It was fun dancing. Boston rocks the house to the A to the M to the M to the A!!! love from qns, prashanti

I heard this playing for the first time at a wedding at the Rhode Island retreat, and I had to find out what it was! It's so much fun!
