Guest guest
Dear brothers and sisters, You can tell how far behind I've gotten with the digests when the most current one is all responses (or mostly all) from me. In any case, I received an email from patient services at AIMS that I want to share with all of you. Most of the details are now already known, but this loving message brought joy to my heart ~ joy that Arun Kumar was not more seriously injured; joy that Amma has created AIMS and other charities to help people; joy for the blessing of such wonderful angels who staff AIMS. Anyhow, before I melt in joy, here is the post (and please do not think that because of my my joy, I do not also feel sad about what happened and even more so that I failed my own emotional tsunami test, yet again, yet Amma instills joy, and I receive it): Om Amriteswaryai Namah Dear Lindaji Thank you for your e-mail expressing concern about Sri.Arunji's health. He had a four and a half inches deep wound on his back (going into his stomach) inflicted by the man who tried to attack Amma. Fortunately, with Amma's grace, it does not seem to have affected any of his internal organs. Four stitches have been put and he is recovering well. Most probably he will be discharged from the Hospital in a day or two. All of us share your concern and he can be considered to have become an instrument in divine hands in preventing any physical attack on our beloved mother and is singularly fortunate to earn this merit though earning merit doing other service would have been more welcome. We all met him and is quite happy to be of service to our Amma. With Amma's grace, he is okay. Please convey this to all concerned who are enquiring about him. A copy of your e-mail has been handed over to him with information that thousands of devotees wish him well. Guest guest
Namah Shivaya, Thank you, Linda for sending this update on Arun's condition from AIMS. Wow! The fact that Arun had no damage to his internal organs with a 4 1/2 inch deep wound is nothing short of amazing. It demonstrates to this child that Mother was very much in charge of the drama around Her.With Mother directing this play, how can we be afraid? It is all Her Grace. To this mind,(such as it is :-) ) the answer is to surrender it all to Her. Whatever happens is by Her for our benefit. Her job is to take us Home. Much Love to all my sisters and brothers.
