Guest guest
Dear brothers and sisters, Does everyone know that Friday is Krishna's Birthday. I forget if someone on this digest mentioned it, or if it was another digest, and if I'm wrong, please let me know. However, if it is Krishna's birthday, I wonder how everyone would feel about doing a group sankalpa on Friday. It could be anything related to Krishna, such as reading passages from the Bhagavad Gita, listening and singing along to Mother's Krishna songs or to Krishna Das' songs, or anything else. People who are interested could all do something different. Bake a Krishna Birthday Cake! I have found a wonderful Krishna Chalisa online, and this is probably what I will do, or the main thing and perhaps some songs. Let me know what you think. We don't have to know who is and isn't participating. This is totally voluntary, just as the prayer group seva is. If anyone is interested, could post the text of the Krishna Chalisa for the group, or send it individually via email. I'd love to know what you all think of this idea. Guest guest
Namah Shivaya Linda, I think that to do something would be a great idea. Would it make sense to set a time? Guest guest
Lindaji is The Idea Grower in our eSatsang. I'm in! Hub and I are going to go to temple, but perhaps we could have a butter cake too. (Sugarless and eggless...hmmmmm...I wonder how that would taste...) With love, Erica P.S. A personal side note: My sister used to stick her finger in the butter stick when she was very young. We called her The Butter Thief... Little did I know then ..certainl not what I know now!
