Am I the only one who thought this? Avram, stymied All great masters have different roles to play on the stage of life. In Amma's case, as she herself has said, she's gotten through much worse things than this in her life so far. There were some real donnybrooks early in her ministry. That she "gets though" these things with equanimity and grace is of great comfort to me. My foremost reaction to this whole encounter is awe. Awe that Amma took it so calmly, awe that despite apparent malicious intent, She was protected, awe that She wouldn't even let Swamiji investigate immediately, etc. I feel very grateful that nothing more serious happened, even with one stab wound. I view it as very serious, but am so grateful for Amma's continued presence on this earth. I don't view the outcome of this event as necessarily taking away from her omniscience and omnipotence. Who's to say why the miscreant failed to harm Her? Jyotsna Jyotsna Visit your group "Ammachi" on the web. Ammachi

Guest guest
In addition to Her omniscience and omnipotence, I am most, most, most captivated and entranced by Amma's omnilove.
