The conspiracy theories are amusing. Would Amma encourage us to speculate

without the benefit of firm and convincing evidence?

 

Pavithan may be

a) Mentally impaired

b) Mentally impaired and a patsy

c) Fully rational and a terrorist

d) NONE OF THE ABOVE BECAUSE HE HAS NOT HAD HIS DAY IN COURT YET.

 

I respectfully select D at this time. Please note that Amma has already

pardoned Pavithan.

 

Now I will add two more centavos. Just my opinion and not trying to persuade

anyone.

 

If Pavithan is convicted by the Kerala Legal System I endorse full prosecution

and placement in a above board and civilized mental or penal institution.

 

It is the dharma of the courts to uphold the law and I cannot see them being

lenient if indeed the case results in conviction.

 

However we are all ostensibly spiritual seekers here. From an

Amma/Love/Compassion view we need to follow our Guruji and rid our hearts of

malice toward Pavithan.

 

Amma demands this.

 

So let's give Pavithan a chance to present his court case and after the verdict

we can pardon him in our hearts yet not necessarily empirically.

 

Dharma needs to be upheld. However, compassion and mercy falls in the realm of

the spirit.

Amma was quoted as saying that she already pardoned the attacker in

Her court.

 

She is the very example of love and compassion. It amazes me to see

that she is still very cool and calm about it. I, for one, would not

be so if someone had tried to stab me.

 

I am just concerned that there are so many rumours, half truths, and

speculations whizzing around. I am going to keep my yap shut on the

subject until we know the full story. That is, IF we ever know the

full story.

 

I pray for Arun Kumar's speedy and full recovery.
