Silence is universal Language.Simple communication always happen silently.Words are powerless before silence, Self knowldge shines effortlessly & spoken words cant communicate sometimes which the silence can.Sitting silently with mind turned towards inner Awareness is silence. whenever I see the image of Gautam Budhha meditating, the poise & serenityof that clam & pure face, radiates peace & it can show the inner silence that he must have experienced. Thoughts generated disturbs this Silence for e.g when electricity flows through wire, it manifests in bulb as we give resistance to it by resistance of bulb & bulb glows; Similarly silence is often disturbed or resisted when thought comes. Unnecessary speaking reduces power like resistance offered reduces the power by being spent to overcome that resistance. One is in absolute harmony with sourounding when one is silence. Truth is beyond words and what words can maximum do is to point towards truth.Words have no inherent reality in them. What silence does is it sinks mind ( Ego) into Heart & thereby weakens ego. Heart is the seat of the divine.Thats the place where duality vanishes. Once Gautam Budhha was meditating under a Bodhi tree. One hoodlum came there & started abusing him. Budhha kept on meditating in deep silence without any reaction to the abuser. After some time the great Budhha, opened his eyes & with all the compassion towards the abuser, asked him, "My dear Son, What happens to a gift when the person who is recieving it refuses to accept it?The abuser replied," Why it remains with the giver" Budhha replied in all his wisdom, " Then this gift of abuses also remains with you as I refuse to accept this gift of yours. This is the power of silence! Omy Consciousness is all there is!
