Guest guest
Dear Linda, Thank you for organizing this wonderful seva. I wanted to mention that when I pray for the list, I feel much more connected to the people I know through the digest (the digest satsang) or to those who send an email to all of us requesting a prayer and telling us about their predicament. I connect more deeply when I read their names on the prayer list and feel so much love and compassion flowing to them. Their names even pop up in my mind at odd times and I send them additional prayers (like Dixie or Nicole). It's a long list so it helps me to have a connection to each name otherwise I tend to skim through the many names that recur every week. I understand, though, that Amma knows them all and their problems even if I don't. I find restarting quarterly a good idea. Thank you again! Jai Ma! Guest guest
Namah Shivaya, good morning to all. My girlfriend's daughter, Erin Howard passed away yesterday morning. I know this will be a very hard time for my friend, Tere. We had also requested to add Erin's son to the prayer list: Richard Howard. He is 16 months old and a very beautiful baby! She left the gift of her beautiful child. Thanks for your prayers for this grieving family. I appreciate it so much. Tere and I have been friends since highschool and there are four of us who have remained close. However, not one of us knew of her daughter's previous drug problems. It makes us sad that she suffered alone with this all this time. If you met my friend, she is vibrant and joyful and so positive. Always smiling. I'm so sorry she had to lose her daughter. I think this is the most difficult things to experience in life as a mother. My heart is just broken for her. At times I feel sad for her, at others I know Amma has told us, we all belong to God. God just lets us borrow one another for a time. Thanks for all the posts. I enjoy reading this in my "spare" time..lol..I work two jobs so it's a little nuts as both are pretty much fulltime along with running my household. So I don't always get to read everything or write. But it is just a gift to have an online Satsang to fill in the gap from when our local Satsang meets. I know Amma is with me. She had to tell me! And I'm staying out of freezers! I bow down to our most beautiful guru, our Amma.
