Guest guest
Dearest brothers and sisters in Amma's Love, Amma's website, handled by the M.A. Center in San Ramon, is back up, and there is, next to the "botton" on the homepage for helping the tsunami victims, another "button" to help the victims of hurricane Katrina. As with the tsunami, I felt more comfortable in sending money to Mother than anywhere else. I knew it would go directly for the relief efforts. I am so glad that Amma's devotees got more detailed word to Her of what has been happening here and that She has dispatched Swami Dayamrita to Hot Springs to begin to direct relief efforts, along with Her devotees, in Her behalf. I am breathing a deep sigh of relief. We cannot stop our prayers and other efforts, but to know that Amma is "here" and the She has put Her "grassroots" into action gives me more hope for the victims than anything that has been done so far. The link to the donation page: _https://www.mothersbooks.org/donations/make-a-donation.html_ (https://www.mothersbooks.org/donations/make-a-donation.html) Mother's Love and Compassion are endless, and She doesn't fool around. Once there is a need, She immediately gets involved. Did we know our Mother was also an activist? I suppose that all of Her charities could have been a clue to this dunderheaded child, but seeing how She went into immediate "gear" with both the tsunami and now the hurricane tells me that She is the best kind of activist. She is a Spiritual Activist, who also knows the importance of the smallest need that one of Her children may have. Jai Jai Ma Linda "Love and beauty are within you. Try to express them through your actions and you will definitely touch the very source of bliss." ~ Amma
