Where is your discrimination?

The error may lie in the emotional need to scapegoat. If you really

care, what are you DOING to help besides negative talk?

Do you realize that joining in the hysterical politics of the day is

a type of manipulation?

Why don't you take these OPINIONS about things to a political room

where spreading this sewage is the accepted norm.

Who are the proverbial "they" outside of ourselves who are doing all

the wrong over and over again? Hmmmmmm.

Well for starters, I sent my week's gross income to the MA Center. I

plan to do more as we go along. I also volunteer as a reading tutor at

the local school. What have you done? Oh, and by the way, it is

impolite to capitalize your hysterical words in an email. It is

considered swearing in emal etiquette.

I apologize for my post. It was not my intention to

defend a particular political position which seems to

be what a couple of you have read. I simply wanted to

point out that righteous indignation or even anger

might not always be antithetical to the spiritual

path. Yes, certainly discrimination is needed. I

simply wanted to point out that the Self transcends

and embraces all of these emotions. The Self accepts

all for it is the most subtle and accepts everything.

Everything arises in the Self, even anger. I only

wanted to point out, from my point of view at least,

that advancing on the spiritual path or even "doing

the right thing," doesn't always mean "making nice." I

was not condoning the original post nor do I think I

was "joining in the hysterical politics of the day."

I did not make the original post. If you look back and

re-read, I hope you will see that I was not spreading

"sewage" or at least I hope that was not the case.

That was not my intention. I have no political axe to

grind here. I only wished to point out an alternate

response to the original post.

May you be well,

Dave
