O’ Lord Jesus where are you hiding?

This writing of yours is quite a synchronicity for me today.

I got into a conversation with a Professor of Theology from a Christian

Bible College. He had gone to India in January to check up on the

missionaries that his church had sent there.

When he talked about Indian culture I was speechless. He gave the old

arguments of the British missionaries about how backwards the culture

was and how the caste system and belief in karma had kept the people

back. There was no room in his belief system to even accept the

possibility that worshipping Krishna or Kali was a valid way for

humanity to connect with God. I mentioned Amma's work with the poor

and her tremendous contributions to the tsunami relief efforts. I

asked him if he believed that Christ was going to actually return to

Earth in a body. He said he did. I said "do you think he might come

as a black man or an Asian or even a woman"? This was totally out of

his paradigm.
