Regarding the incessant japa, do you happen to have any links (or a source)

of where Amma says this? I fully believe you, I just enjoy being able to

save things on webpages, or to know where I can look to read up further on

something.

Dear Bela ~ Japa can be as simple as repeating the name of God over and

over, the ishta devata (diety) of your choice, such as RAM, RAM, RAM, RAM ... or

even AMMA, AMMA, AMMA. It does't have to be a mantra. I am saving the site you

included in your email. It looks wonderful, but I couldn't listen because

when my computer was in the shop, the person who fixed it deleted my

RealPlayer, which is needed for this site. So I have to re-download it.

Regarding Japa, you could also google the word and see what pops up. Jai Ma

Dear Bela ~ my 2 cents ~ keep it simple as suggested above using

RAM_RAM_RAM_RAM_RAM_RAM_RAM_RAM

or AMMA_AMMA_AMMA_AMMA_AMMA_AMMA

or MA_MA_MA_MA_MA_MA_MA_MA

or GOD_GOD_GOD_GOD_GOD

and very important ~ whenever possible ~

when mind not too noisy and slows down somewhat ~

notice the silence between each word ~

eventually, the word will drop off

and only silence will remain

SILENCE is another name for GOD.

jai ma,

amarnath

ps ~ why not honor/notice silence in everything ~ in space between

trees, etc
