My surgery...

Namaste everyone...

I am having surgery on Friday. I already have my name on the prayer list for

health reasons, so I didn't submit anything to be added to it. I have so many

friends and family praying for me, that I feel confident that everything will go

as planned.

I'm not sure what time my surgery will be, as they don't do Friday's surgery

schedule until Thursday afternoon. It is scheduled to be a same day surgery, if

all goes as planned and no complications.

I'm quite nervous and a bit scared, which I think is natural... but I try to lay

all of that at Amma's feet and carry on. Any extra prayers would certainly be

appreciated... and I thank you in advance.

Namah Shivaya Bela,

My thoughts will be with you Friday. When I had surgery I was quite

nervous and tried to distract myself with totally unrelated things -

like watching funny movies. The night before the surgery I went to bed

telling myself I wasn't going to the hospital - that I was going to get

on a flight to New York. This was before I knew Mother. I tried to have

faith that it would all go well - and I'm still here!

So - positive thoughts - lots of faith - Mother's feet.

May you feel Mother holding you in Her arms - she always does, you know.

Thank you so much for your thoughts, Prasadini. I have also been completely

distracting myself from the surgery, by cleaning house, writing letters to

friends, and good, fun TV. (And lots of popcorn, LOL.)

Yes, She always holds me, and I know she will continue to hold me throughout my

surgery, and during recovery. Knowing Her, She will probably pinch or tickle

me, to encourage me to get up and walk about, afterwards! (*^_^*)

Jai Ma!
