Guest guest
Namaste everyone... Is there anywhere online where it explains all of the different happenings that go on during her tour? With this new job offer I have received, it's very likely I can finally meet Amma for the first time! It's also possible that I may have to bring along my children (5 & 9 years old). They are good kids... but I know even good kids get restless and easily bored if they have to stand in long lines, waiting etc. (I may be able to let them stay with family, but I won't know that until a later time.) Thanks for any input! Jai Ma... ¸... ´¨¨)) -:¦:- ¸..´ ..´¨¨)) ((¸¸..´ ...´ -:¦:- ..::Brightest Blessings::.. -:¦:- ((¸¸..´.¸...` ..::Bela::.. Guest guest
Dear Bela, What happens on tour somewhat depends on whether you are attending public programs or retreats. In general, there is a morning program which consists of a short meditation followed by Amma giving darshan and a background of bhajans by the swamis. That usually ends anywhere from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. Then Amma is back at the hall around 7:30 or 8:00 p.m. for the evening program, which starts with a talk by a devotee and/or Amma, then about an hour to hour and a half of bhajans, then darshan to the wee, small hours. There is usually singing during darshan, too. Some childcare is available, particularly during evening bhajans at the retreats, but someone who uses the childcare can fill you in better on that. There are separate rooms for the young children, the pre-teens and teens. Sometimes at retreats a swami or swamini will have a special session with the teens. You might contact MA Center to see what childcare is offered. Good luck with seeing Amma! In Amma's love, Jyotsna Bela Gaytán <bela.fela wrote: Namaste everyone...
