George posted (from Dixie's husband, Ron):

Dixie passed away this Thursday morning.

She put up a valiant fight but finally

grew too weary to continue. She died in

her childrens hands. I'm already missing

her more than I could ever imagine. Would

you please notify the group and offer your

prayers.

Dear Group ~ I just wanted to assure everyone that I have already changed

the entry for Dixie on the prayer list, and she will remain on, along with her

husband Ron and her childrenn. I "met" Dixie when I first joined the Circle

of Love letter writing group. She was one of the first people I wrote to, and

we had many lively notes back and forth. I can imagine her dear spirit

looking on all of us and embracing us with love. Blessings ~ Linda

Namah Shivaya.

This news is received with moans and a keening heart

that then remembers that this is yet another scene in Amma¹s Divine Play.

I was blessed to meet Dixie in Iowa a few years ago and to

enjoy many of her posts both on the list and off the list.

I believe she has a daughter.

Yes, surely Dixie is enjoying nonstop darshan now and I¹m sure she¹s

joining all of us in her new found freedom.

May Amma comfort all who are feeling the loss of her physical presence.

This is the first such loss I am aware of on this list.

It brings us closer together, reminding us that we all do indeed fit into

Amma¹s limitless embrace.

Jai Kali Ma.
