I was just thinking about this could this play a little

more greater role in Amma's childrens lives? could this be a forum for

providing solution to some of the problems like job vaccencies and

many more? Many of the Amma's children who are in need throught the

world will be benifited from this.I request moderator and the group

members to think over this.Thank you.

I really like this idea too. Perhaps starting another for that

specific purpose? I

tried putting up something like that on my website, but I don't have quite

enough visitors

yet for it to fly, and I also am not showing up in search engines yet. It would

be great to

have a resource where all of Ammas children could go to help each other out and

offer

advice on things that aren't technically Amma specific. I would be happy to

moderate that

group if enough people are up for it. We are all her children, after all...and I

think it could

be a fun and beneficial forum.

 

Maybe we could start it and see how it goes?

I am a member of another for Indian Railway

fans (Indian Railway Fan Club, http://irfca.org ).

This group started another , IRFCA-Derailed

for discussions of topics not directly related to

Indian railways, or to continue discussion of threads

that had become off-topic, e.g. "my mother's recipe

for masala dosa is better than yours", evolving from a

message about the food served aboard the Rajdhani

Express. I don't think we need to have a separate

"Ammachi-derailed" listserv..at least not yet. Job

openings can be sent off-list to the person who posted

the message about looking for a new job. remember that

when you hit "reply", you are sending a message that

will be read (or at least show up in the inbox) of

hundreds of people. to send an off-list message, you

need to replace 'ammachi' in the "To"

box with the e-mail address of the individual sender

you wish to reply to.
