Namaste Brothers and Sisters,

These are the most profound q's one can ask and Amma gave the most

profound answers verbally possible.

One of Amma's Swamis when first coming to Amma switched his Self-

Inquiry( "who am i?" ) practice to Devotion on Amma. This was very

good for him since his heart was very dry at the time. But after some

time and his heart so open to Amma, She asked him to go back to Self-

Inquiry( "Who Am I?" ) as it was best suited for him. And She told

him to do it continously without letting up.

My understanding is: Asking "Who Am I?" with all sincerity and

longing for the Supreme Non-Verbal Answer from the Lord does silence

the mind gradually and eventually will produce the desired result.

What is the goal of all spiritual practices?

Is it not to make the mind more and more silent?

Om Amtriteswaryai Namaha,

amarnath
