Money Troubles?

Money troubles anyone? Where is Amma in your life? Is she in India

now? Is she in your heart no matter where her body is?

 

Recently, I had a realization and these are for giving away. Giving

away realizations makes them stronger inside yourself.

 

I'm doing a 40-day prosperity program with the church I attend. One

day I was really struggling with the principle they wanted us to

consider for the day. It was during Amma's visit to the M.A. Center

just a few weeks ago, so it was natural that I would think of Amma.

She was across the property giving darshan at the time. I was out

on the hilly shore of the lake where the swans live, doing my

prosperity exercise. So I thought of Amma and I realized that she is

an embodiment of prosperity.

 

She doesn't own a lot personally. She doesn't have a lot of money

personally, but she has brought prosperity to thousands of people

who previously had nothing. How does she do this? She loves

everyone and shows us that she loves everyone through her wonderful

hugs. When she sees a problem, she asks the people for whom she has

shown such affection to help her solve the problem. That's it. She

is unshakeably certain who she is. She tells in one of the books –

the biography – about experiencing herself merging with every deity

she could think of, and realizing that she was one with all of these

divine personalities, our human points of view about God. She's

sure of the divine presence as herself and all that is.

 

And what does this prosperity program want me to realize? The

program wants me to realize the divine presence within me as the

source and substance of my prosperity. This continually reminds me

of a Vedantic principle that God is both the intelligence behind the

universe and the stuff it is made of. Also it tells that the Self,

the I-AM-Awareness, and God are one. So anything that I need,

anything that I want or a member of my family or friends want, any

experience that I seek is made up of God, is made up of myself. To

be aware of the Divine Presence or the Higher Self or God within as

my actual prosperity is the goal of the program.

 

If Amma is in India now for you, please put her in your heart and

talk to her throughout your day. If Amma has a home in your heart

already, please think of how she is prosperity embodied. When I saw

this that day on the hilly banks of the lake, it was the first time

I saw Amma as Lakshmi. So, in case you have money problems, I

especially share this insight with you and urge you t o happily be

grateful for what you do have, and loving to all the people you deal

with. For you have Amma within you and what you need is on its way.
