Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya: For those of you who have loved ones who think Ammachi is a cult have them bend their intellects on these recent events. The Governor of Michigan officially welcomed Amma to Michigan. Michiagan's U.S. Senator personally appeared at Amma's Michigan retreat offering praise and welcome. Yesterday the press announced that former President William Clinton accepted a one million dollar payment from M.A. Center. Add to these facts the following: http://www.amritapuri.org/news/12/12president.php Namah Shivaya, GeorgeSon
Guest guest
That is wonderful! I understand that some of the high government officials in India, was it the former or current Deputy Prime Minister, were actual devotees of Amma? Guest guest
Doesn't matter - no kind of explanations will help satisfy people with narrow extremist monotheistic Judeo-Christian conditioning. If I were one I would say Michigan's Gov, Senator & the former President have officially joined the cult. Guest guest
Namah Shivayah, I would submit that this is more subtle than you make it sound. Ever hear of Jim Jones and the People's Temple? National, state, regional and city politicians rushed to embrace his "philosophy of service." (Pictures at http://www.brasscheck.com/jonestown/pics.html) As you may recall, later around 300 people drank poison koolaid and died with him in Jonestown. So, to provide a little American history, politicians have not really proved very discerning when it comes to embracing religious figures. Frankly, I would rather that Amma stayed away from having politicians come and pay lip service to what she's doing anyway. I'm uncomfortable with that. Guest guest
AMMAS son is now listening to some instrumental music by SHREE YOGANANANDA.he is deep in his heart right now.this music is so beautiful.the the name of the song is "where there is love."AMMAs son has created his own hip-hop devotional and it is now called"where there is love,AMMA IS." anyway.ALL of our lives can be viewed as something to be read by the world one day as a sacred scripture.is it not all HER DIVINE PLAY?AMMAs son knows what you mean when you say 'your story,'however the truth is that it is all HERS.IF ANYTHING IT IS YOU ALLS.IT is NOT MINE,AMMAs son owns nothing.he is ONLY HER DARLING little lost child.yes he did say lost.lost in HER LOVE.my prayer is that one day AMMAs son is so lost in HER LOVE THAT he cannot find himself. MAY ALL BEINGS IN THIS WORLD AND ALL OTHER WORLDS FIND A PERMINANT HOME IN THE IMMORTAL BLISS OF THIS HEART.MAY I DISAPEAR IN HER LOVE AND ONLY YOU REMAIN.MAY YOU DISAPEAR AND ONLY HER LOVE REMAIN.MAY HER LOVE BE THE ONLY AWARENESS OF EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING. love your brother, timba aka AMMAs son >"leokomor" <leokomor >Ammachi >Ammachi > Re: President of India to Visit Amritapuri >Fri, 16 Dec 2005 02:37:25 -0000 > >Dear Themba: > >Thank you for the bright light of spiritual understanding. >Politicians are Her children. Guest guest
I think politicians could benefit from knowing Amma! if She offered KoolAid, we'd probably all drink it! LOL...I don't think Jim Jones gave darshan nor was enlightened. If they embrace Amma, then the guru has called! I would have no fear with Amma. Perhaps it will open their hearts so that we can begin the change of living more in accordance with natural laws. adriane Ammachi, "jyotsna2" <jyotsna2> wrote: > > Namah Shivayah, > > I would submit that this is more subtle than you make > it sound.
