When I wrote to the bookstore contact about the Bhajanamritam tapes that is what I was told, and that the reason was because these tapes were not of good quality. Of course, in my mind, the quality is great, and I'm glad to have the 2 that I have (one has the arati and closing prayers on it). But I think as the tecnology advances, older forms are left behind. There may also be an issue of only wanting to carry a certain amount of items at the bookstore. Last year, I saw a note in the section where the Amritanjali Tapes are. It said, "These tapes will be available for only another two years." I don't think the message is there anymore. Perhaps they got lost of email. : ) Or maybe they figured putting it up for a short time was enough. In any case, I would encourage anyone who wants anything (except for those items which are relatively new) from the bookstore, to start working on getting them. And if anyone does have the Bhanamritam series and is willing to make copies, I would love a few also. (Happy to pay for the tapes and postage.)
