I nearly broke down and cried when I read these words of Amma's: "Even if we cannot completely remove the suffering of others, sorrows lessen when they are shared with others." My sankalpa has been so hard, and not talking about it has brought all the feeling forcefully to the front of my awareness, so now I am working to deal with those ... they must come out, I know that, and I just hope that Amma's vacuum cleaner will do a really good job of cleaning all of that out. I am again behind on the digest, but in case nobody else has posted this information, there is another online auction on the M.A. Center website to raise additional needed funds for helping people to continue to recover from the tsunami. I am so glad this is being done again. Last year I got several things during the auction, and they are very precious to me. Here is the link: _http://www.theammashop.org/auction/_ (http://www.theammashop.org/auction/) But check it out soon because it appears this auction has already been going on for some time. Among "Amma Personal" items, Amma's Prasad Travel Mug (which looks like an ordinary carry along coffee mug, but we know better, don't we) has already been bid up to $108. A Tsunami Relief Chair Cloth, which Amma sat on while stitching a skirt for a tsunami victim has already been bid up to $2,006. But ... there are still wonderful items to bid on, some owned personally by Amma, some used by Amma in Her room when She visited in Seattle (looks like they contributed a lot of items, including a futon). There is a beautiful silver hair clip, worn by Amma, that is still only $25. Even though the categories don't say so, it when I looked under several, there were other items personally used by Amma. So don't miss out on this great opportunity to continue with efforts to help the tsunami victims and receive a wonderful present to boot. (Oh, geeze, now I sound like a sales person :::grin:: Love to all & Happy New Year ~ Linda
