Amarnath, the Amma quotation you posted reminded me of something else I once

read:

There once lived a great warrior. Though quite old, he still was able to defeat

any

challenger. His reputation extended far and wide throughout the land and many

students

gathered to study under him.

One day an infamous young warrior arrived at the village. He was determined to

be the

first man to defeat the great master. Along with his strength, he had an uncanny

ability to

spot and exploit any weakness in an opponent. He would wait for his opponent to

make

the first move, thus revealing a weakness, and then would strike with merciless

force and

lightning speed. No one had ever lasted with him in a match beyond the first

move.

Much against the advice of his concerned students, the old master gladly

accepted the

young warrior's challenge. As the two squared off for battle, the young warrior

began to

hurl insults at the old master. He threw dirt and spit in his face. For hours he

verbally

assaulted him with every curse and insult known to mankind. But the old warrior

merely

stood theremotionless and calm. Finally, the young warrior exhausted himself.

Knowing he

was defeated, he left feeling shamed.

Somewhat disappointed that he did not fight the insolent youth, the students

gathered

around the old master and questioned him. "How could you endure such an

indignity? How

did you drive him away?"

"If someone comes to give you a gift and you do not receive it," the master

replied, "to

whom does the gift belong?"

greetings dear brothers and sisters and darling children of AMMA.today AMMAs

grace showered through our efforts as we met with three homeless

shelters.sweta and AMMAs sun were amazed at the positive responses.AMMA did

it all.the last place we went to was saturated with a at least a hundred

FACES OF GOD(AMMAs homeless children).the director of this facilty fell in

love with the vision of bringing our brothers and sisters to recieve their

MOTHERS darshan and she wants to go herself.

AMMAs face is now posted in three different facilitys and we also left much

literature.through HER UNDYING LOVE we will be bringing a few busloads of

HER homeless children to not only recieve their MOTHERS hug but also to

bathe in MOTHER NATURE.

we were able to hug a few of AMMAs children ourselves.the director poured

out her heart to us as she had just lost her brother and her sister.there is

not much more to say, however this child would onky like to mention that if

you want all of your prayers to be answered ask nothing for yourself.

want with all of your heart the best for everyone forgeting yourself and you

will find that in that ,you have been given everything.

A devotee asked AMMA to bless his life in order that he would be more

effective in bringing those who had suffered like him to recieve HER darshan

AMMAs response was - "YOUR INNOCENT DESIRE WILL HAPPEN IN TIME."

AMMAs sun believes with all of his heart that one day AMMA will materialize

a shelter for HER homeless children that will be in MOTHER NATURE.AMMA sun

believes with all of his heart that AMMA will materialize a shelter that

will provide the best services for HER children in AMERICA that are looked

down upon as outkast .AMMAs sun believes that one day this shelter will be

the model of COMPASSION that will enable all of us to love on a much deeper

level.

GOD has allways taken the so-called lowest of the low and the unexpected and

shocked the world.look at AMMAs life.once homless.once labeled an

outkast.once persecuted because of HER skin.once abused, etc.this same being

is now seen by those same beings who persecuted HER and looked down upon as

GOD.

AMMAs homeless children are GOD. sincerely ,your innocent desire.
