Guest guest
namaste, two devotees went to philly for an appointment. they went early by train and took some sandwiches. fed about 10 homeless people. it was a beautiful sunny day. one devotee was in nyc. the devotee asked one person if he was homeless? the person seemed irritated and replied in a loud voice: "WHAT? DO I LOOK LIKE IAM HOMELESS? MY WIFE IS A MILLIONARE! " the feeling is that there are many simple positive unselfish things devotees of amma do; maybe if we shared some of these, it would help ? i know, the left hand is not supposed to know what the right hand is doing. and that SILENCE is the ultimate TRUTH. and that ego is always ready to take credit, etc. but still, the SILENCE manifests as LOVE which is expressed in many simple compassionate ways. amma's blessings, amarnath Ammachi, Sweta Mitzel <swetabc wrote: > > Namah Shivaya, > > This could be off base, since I haven't kept very good track of recent posts. But, it does seem that some negative posts have been given a lot of attention, a lot of energy. If we were to give the positve posts this much responsive attention, wouldn't it encourage those posts to continue? This came to my mind, because I've felt that many of my posts about positive things, haven't elicited much of a response. While some of the dramtic threads appear to be extensively long. Maybe my perception is off-base, but it's true that ignoring negativity, is one way to help it stop. And, we can tend feel rewarded by attention, even if it's negative. > > Sweta > > > > Messenger with Voice.
