And I had just started to let go of my desires to travel to Seattle and/or San Ramon!! Congratulations again!!! What a sacred occasion to anticipate! Do you know if it will be the first weekend or the second?? (You might remember Amma gave us about four days "warning" in 2001, after we chased Her across America asking over and over again what precisely She meant by "later." In fact, I was just laughing the other day at how strange and funny and sighing and "don't hold me responsible for any of the ensuing marital drama" tone of reluctant indulgence that was inflected in Her voice replying "Oh-Kaaaaay...." when Jeff asked for the wedding blessing.) Oooh I hope Amma "makes it so" that we can make it. lots of love, prashanti
Guest guest
It looks like we will be able to have it on the first DB, which is the 10th, so the wedding will be the morning of the 11th. I remembered your story so I made real sure to peg Amma down for this summer, San Ramon! I hope she doesn't pull any of her infamous "bait and switch" moves on us, because we have family flying in from all over the place, inlcuding Brazil. But you never know with Amma! I bought the Devi Bhava sari a few weeks ago at the ashram... man that thing is alive! It's one of the cream ones with gold brocade. You can really feel Amma's shakti in it. I put it over a chair and put her photo on it, and we meditate in front of it every morning. What a blessing! love, Prajna Rachel Barrett Gallop <hipstorian wrote: On 4/17/06, Prajna - Brianna <prajnaji wrote: "I may be going on the whole tour for my honeymoon, since Amma is marrying us in San Ramon! Guest guest
Dear Prajna, The 11th is my birthday! I was hoping to try to be in San Ramon with Mother, but will probably be in the midst of a medical treatment. So, if you remember, please say a prayer for me....and I wish you every blessing for your Amma wedding! That is so wonderful!
