Guest guest
I've fallen quite badly into a financial pitfall after I lost my job back in February. Thankfully, I still live at home, so my bills get paid, but my bank keeps playing "fee games" with me and money that I don't have, my mum is currently paying all my bills and the fees...I really need some sort of help in getting a job. I've been playing phone tag with this restaurant for 3 weeks and no one is getting back to me, but they're really my only lead at this point, I was even rejected by Target. So some form of help, any help, would be greatly appreciated, since I hate having to make my mom help me pay for my messes. Guest guest
Hi Katie, I received your request for prayers, and I will add your name to the list for this week, and keep you on there as long as you need it. I'm sorry to hear about your difficulties, and pray that Amma will soon bring you relief. I know how painful and frustrating financial situations can be, as I have had too many of them to even count, over the years! Very stressful indeed! I have found that doing the 1,000 names has really helped my situation. It took some time, but it has really helped to ease our situation, and we are doing much better now than we ever have before. It has been gradual, but steady improvement. Please have faith in our Beloved Mother, as She has more for you than you can imagine, but the timing must be right, and spiritual practices definitely help. It is good that you have such a wonderful mother who is helping you with these issues, even though I'm sure it is humiliating and uncomfortable for you. Humility is one of the main lessons Amma teaches us...not my favorite lesson, dear sister! Have faith and keep moving ahead...don't give up! Hold ever more tightly to Her Lotus Feet, and all will be well in the end. Meanwhile, we hold you tightly in our prayers, beloved sister! Please write to me if you need some support. Once that is done, one can only be humble because one sees that whatever happens in his life, whether positive or negative, is His will. In this state, all reactions disappear. There are no more reactions, only acceptance. Therefore, humility can also be interpreted as total acceptance." - Ammachi, Awaken Children, Vol.4, p50 (0055) definitely not easy, but definitely worthwhile to aspire for.
