The program started at 3:45 p.m. and ended at 4:45 p.m. Swami sat in the lounge and enjoyed the program. At 4:45 p.m. Swami asked the students to start the Bhajans. They led the Bhajans until 5:00 p.m. At 5:00 p.m., Swami asked the UK group to lead the Bhajans. The UK group led the Bhajans from 5:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. At 5:30 p.m., Swami accepted Aarathi and then He retired to Poornachandra. A some tid-bits of happenings in Parthi.... Take care and God bless! yours in service, lalita Monday was a happy day for the gents, because Swami came to their side! Well, it wasn't really like a real Darshan, because Swami only went to a big group of gents that were seated separately. But at least, He came that side. First, He came in the little car as usual, about 3:30 PM, and went through the ladies on the car. Then, He got down and walked all the way over the East Prasanthi gate- side, through the students, and talked with the large group from Srikakulam District of AP (some say 1,000 people, others say they numbed 4 or 5 thousand people!). He asked Prasad and photos to be distributed to them. The car followed behind Him the whole time, but He did not get in. Otherwise, Swami is giving Darshans as usual. On Sunday, He got down in the afternoon and walked through the main isle of the ladies side. Other than that one time, usual He has only been coming in the car for Darshans, and returning in the car after bhajans. On Monday, He got up after only two bhajans (Ganesh and one other bhajan) in the morning! We because worried! But, that evening He gave extra Darshan because that was the day He came to the gents, to see the big group from Srikakulam. He is still sitting in the big chair placed in the centre at the front of the Mandir, for bhajans - so basically no one except the first one or two rows in the Mandir can see Him. However, he is definitely spending a longer time listening to bhajans - on average, 5 to 15 minutes longer than He did before. Before, He would let morning bhajans go on only for 15 minutes or even less but nowadays, He is staying for 25 minutes or more! In the evening, He would stay for 20 minutes but now He lets bhajans go for nearly 30 minutes.
