Fun helps kids learn human values

 

A HUNDRED children aged between six and 12 learned about human

values at a free summer camp at Roxeth First and Middle School in

Byron Hill Road, Harrow-on-the-Hill, last week.

 

Through activities such as games, sports, drama, discussions, art,

storytelling and singing, issues such as self-respect and respect

for others and the environment; truth; conduct, and non-violence

were raised.

 

The camp was part of the Sathya Sai Education in Human Values

Programme, which is taught in more than 100 schools around the UK.

It is suitable for children of all religions, as well as those with

no religious faith.
