Experiences of UK Group

07 and 08 AUG 2003

 

The following is a highlight of the experiences from Sai Brother

Ajit Popat from UK. Recently he led a group of devotees to

Prashanthi Nilayam. Swami showered this group with lots of Bliss.

 

Jai Sai Ram

 

By His grace following reports are sent, as promised by ajit popat

(puppet)

 

07-08-03 ---------- Our beloved swami very graciously allowed the

heart valve bank group u.k. consisting of 252 members led by puppet

to make the humble offering of sai harmony , musical programme after

the afternoon darshan in sai kulwant hall.

 

Swami allowed all th 99 youth boys, and girls to seat in front of

him on the the protico near ganesha , with all their instruments.

This was strange, as normally it is not done. Programme commenced

after two young girls and a boy dressed as muslim qawali singer

offered the programme card to Swami. Swami read the card four times

at intervals, blessed the team and signalled the start of the

programme.

 

The group. in choir fashion sang Sanskrit prayer, a Telegu song ,

followed by 2 English , and four Hindi songs. Swami who was in total

bliss asked the group to continue singing and the programme went on

until 5.30 , instead of finishing at 5.00 p.m

 

Swami very kindly blessed two of the group members to perform the

mangal arrathi.

 

All songs were familiar bhajans/ songs, sang with lots of love/

devotion. Senior staff members said that at least for 30 years they

had not seen anything like this . S.K. Hall was in bliss Swami

blessed all with His Darshan for one hour.

 

Swami's students enjoyed the programme to the extent that they

requested for a repeat.

Swami called in the same group for an interview in side the mandir

at o730hrs. First time saw such a big group going in for the morning

interview. The ususal mandir pooja was cut short by half an hour.

This was also very rare and very unusual. Swami went inside the

mandir and doors were opend only at 08:50hrs, just in time for the

morning bhajans. Swami blessed one of the young musican with a gold

chain and a gold locket of Swami and reverse side with an Aum.

 

Swami gave detailed instructions on meaning and significance of Shiv

Lingam and Vibhooti. Swami then blessed puppet and his wife with a

Sai Lingam and explained the details of Lingam in detail a unquie

Lingam ( Joyti/ Ataman, and murtumjayam lingam)

 

Swami said highest sadhana is "Love All Serve All". Hold on to the

lotus feet of Lord with faith and love.

 

The group left for london immediatley after the bhajans full of

bliss and peace as Swami personally blessed all members by giving

vibhooti prasadam with His Divine hands.
