At about 9:10 AM, during bhajans, Swami came in the white Mercedes. The hall was really sparsely populated, as lately no one expects Darshan in the mornings. Suddenly everyone started dashing to get the closest places they could! When He went out, I just saw the top of His hair, due to the specially lowered seat in the car. Swami went out the Gopuram gate and onto the road, we know not where to. He came back just after arathi finished - coming in the Gopuram gate, turning, going down the lady's isle and out towards the Poornachandra. He was waving and waving, looking towards our side as usual. He looked soo happy - and kept a wide smile with slightly open mouth - a rare toothy grin! Of course, everyone was ecstatic and waved back wildly! In the evening, Swami came a little before 5 PM. As soon as He came, bhajans began. Surprise again! He came in the open-air easy chair, the one He used on Onam evening (mounted on a platform, with driver seated behind on a slightly raised seat). Swami interacted more than usual: taking some letters, talking and even stopping for a minute or two in a few places, to hold longer conversations with one person or the other.
