Aum Sai Ram to my brothers and sisters in Sai.

We would like to invite you to spend a day in loving thoughts and

songs of Sri Sathya Sai. On Saturday, the 18th of October, 2003 the

Pittsburgh Sai Center is hosting a mini-retreat at the Murrysville

Facing Life's Challenges".

Our guest speakers are Jimmy Patel from Windsor, Mark and Sue

Bayless from Toledo and Ted Henry from Cleveland. Each speaker will

be sharing their experiences with Sri Sathya Sai Baba in light of

our theme.

Morning Bhajan starts at 8:00 am, followed by presentations by our

guest speakers, workshops, cultural program and concludes with

evening Bhajans, which starts at 5:00 pm. Breakfast, lunch, dinner

and snacks will be served. Please see the attached PowerPoint

Presentation for details.

Directions: From the Pennsylvania Turnpike, take the

Pittsburgh/Monroeville Exit 57 (old exit 6). Turn right towards

Route 22 East (Murrysville). Proceed approximately 3-4 miles until

you reach a McDonalds and turn right at the 3rd street, Carson Ave.

Murrysville Community Hall is the 3rd building on the left.

Kindly pass this message on to your respective centers. To help us

organize, kindly let us know if you are interested, by replying back

to this email. We would be happy to arrange for accomodations for

those who will need it.

For those who would like to sing, please send us your 1st and 2nd

preferences of your songs, along with the lyrics, no later than

October 13. This will allow us to project the words to your songs.

Some would say that life is like a journey. For those faced with

challenges, the journey includes climbing the Himalayas. Filled

with hardship and peril, the best way to trek the craggy steeps is

to go in teams, where one dares to climb, while others push him up.

The one on top then pulls the others up with him. Such is our

Sadhana and this is how Sathsang benefit us. Its value is

immeasureable for it takes us beyond the summits, towards the High

Heavens. Come and join us at this retreat.

In Sai's Loving hands
