Sai Global Harmony 24-hr digital radio broadcasting stationand internet streaming Radio Sai Global Harmony is now broadcasting over the internet using mp3 streaming. To listen to it, you need suitable software: PC: Itunes (free download --not a Sai site) WinAmp (free download) --not a Sai site) Windows Media Player (free download) --not a Sai site) Sonique (download) --not a Sai sites) Macintosh Itunes (free download --not a Sai site) WinAmp alpha (free download) --not a Sai site) Windows Media Player (free download --not a Sai site) To listen using ITunes, use menu item Advanced–>Open Stream; in the window that pops up, type this URL: http://216.240.139.112:8000. To listen using Windows Media Player, use menu item File->Open URL menu item; in the window that pops up, type this URL: http://216.240.139.112:8000 (we have trouble making this work on the Macintosh). Please do NOT use Real Player. It downloads a file and then plays it, rather than streaming it, and this can cause severe problems. The schedule parallels closely the schedule of Radio Sai, This service is a joint venture of Radio Sai Gobal Harmony and the International Sai Organization. Please note that we do not yet know what the demand will be for this service. Contrary to radio broadcasting, the more people who use the internet service at the same time, the more "bandwidth" we need. If too many people try this service at the same time, some will be denied service. Please bear with us if this happens. We believe we can handle several thousand people simultaneously. Send you comments on this service to the Intl Sai Org webmaster or to the Radio Sai webmaster. The radio station is available on BCID 1314 in the following places: West beam on BCID 1314, covering India and neighboring regions Northeast beam, covering Japan South beam, covering Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, etc. Afristar satellite, (BCIDf 846) covering Africa, Mediterranean, the Middle East, and most of Europe (Northern Europe will have difficulty receiving the broadcast), which is 21 degrees East longitude. Click here for the schedule. Here is the RadioSai site. Here is information on digital radios (not a Sai site). North America is not covered by the company's satellites. However, they do have relations with another broadcasting company, and there is a slight chance that Sai Global Harmony will be broadcast through that other company.
