The fish dies when it was taken out of the water. So do not become selfish; render selfless service to society.’’Exhorting students not to live for money, Baba advised them to earn morality. ‘‘If money comes it goes but if you earn morality it never goes but grows. You will become true Indian when you have morality. You should realise that education is not to earn money because money ruins your peace. You should work for the welfare of needy people and strive hard to retain and preserve Indian culture. Well-known singer M.S. Subbalakshmi never sang for money but to earn name and fame,’’ Baba said.Urging students to be self-confident, Baba said: ‘‘Self-confidence leads to self-sacrifice which leads to self-realisation. So be confident of achieving your goal in life, speak truth and follow righteous path.’’Baba said students should not misinterprete the meaning of love. ‘‘Love never destroys anyone but helps needy people. Love is God. You live in God, who is in your heart.’’He said many students forget to remember their motherland soon after landing in a foreign country. ‘‘Bharath is known for knowledge and sacrifice. You should not forget your motherland which is like your mother. Can anyone forget his own mother? Be a true and pround son of Bharath.’’Earlier, Vice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat appreciated the service of Sathya Sai Seva Samithi in providing drinking water to 700 villages in Anantapur district. ‘‘I wish religious organisations derive inspiration from Baba and in addition to spiritual uplift, also work for amelioration of the poor, the hungry and the sick,’’ he said. The vice-president said India is proud of its ancient civilisation and rich cultural heritage. ‘‘Diversities provide unique richness and varied flavours. Diverse social groups co-exist in harmony, always guided by the most secular ethos embodied in ancient axiom of ‘Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam’,’’ he said. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Sai Baba in the media:http://www.saibabalinks.org/saibabainthemedia.htm Free Pop-Up Blocker - Get it now
