Guest guest
Light and love to all We cannot see directly Swami's Cosmic Form, but through inner visions and appearances in outer world it is possible to create the comparisons what as can bring Swami's Omnipresent Being closer to humans hearts. Recently astronomer's Travis Metcalfe team (Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics) discovered the known Galaxy's Largest Diamond star. The newly discovered cosmic diamond is a chunk of crystallized carbon 50 light-years from the Earth in the constellation Centaurus. (A light-year is the distance light travels in a year, or about 6 trillion miles.) It's the compressed heart of an old star, 2,500 miles across and weighs 5 million trillion trillion pounds (a one followed by 34 zeros). More proper information from original source: http://cfa-www.harvard.edu/press/pr0407image.html Enjoy the picture Diamond star with or without animation. This star's imagination (as it scientists have imagined) caused involuntary wish to compare this star with Swami's Omnipresent Cosmic Form. The illumination from this star is as reflection what shines in devotees hearts in the very different parts of world. Diamonds are commonplace in outer space in form of tiny particles in stardust. Meteorites from solar system’s asteroid belt contain large quantities of nanodiamonds. The scientists explain that the stardust, formed within the early solar system. (More information: "The Secrets of Stardust," by J. Mayo Greenberg. Scientific American, December 2000). The structure of these tiny diamonds is exactly the same as the structure of a huge planet. It is a bright comparison with oneness of the same Atma expressed through Diamond planet and diamond dust. When to compare diamond and graphite then the both represent the one and the same element - carbon. The only difference between graphite and diamond is the way that the carbon atoms are arranged (diamonds have tightly packed pyramids, graphite's atoms are arranged in loosely stacked layers). Diamond, composed of carbon, is the hardest natural substance in the world. (Diamond's origin may have finally been revealed in the twentieth century, but an appreciation of its beauty has been known since its discovery in India, about 400 B.C.E. Historically, diamond has been referred to as the essence of purity and invincibility, a symbol of royalty, and token of everlasting love). The graphite pictorially as represent the human beings whose mind is under the influence of senses and can be broken into many pieces in various directions. How hard to gather these pieces together, alias how hard to quiet the emotions caused by senses. Swami's Teaching, put into practice is as a divine force to transform human's mind towards atmic consciousness. It may pictorially to compare with light and heat energy what transforms graphite to diamond. Namaste - Reet
