Guest guest
Pl. find given below the mail from Sri Srinivasan Chettiar, President Sri Sai Paduka Trust regarding the Paduka Pooja at Canada. At HIS Lotus Feet Bharadhwaaj Ramaswamy Om Sri Sai Ram A message form the President of Sri Sai Padhuga Trust Mr. P.S.A.S. Srinivasan on the occasion of the Sri Sai Padhuga Pooja being conducted in Canada on 1st July 2004 for the 5th year in succession in association with Sri Sai Padhuga Trust Madurai. At the outset my self and the entire members of Sri Sai Padhuga Trust convey their warmhearted Good wishes to Sai Brother Shiva Chellia and others associating with him, for organizing the sacred Sri Sai Padhuga Pooja on 1st July 2004 at TORONTO, for the 5th year in succession with the Blessings of our Benign Bhagawan. The large circle of Sai Devotees in Canada are exhibiting keen interest in organizing the Sri Sai Padhuga Pooja annually under the meticulous and kind guidance of Brother Shiva Chellia for propagating the message and Love of Sai through His sacred Padhugas. The Devotees are propagating the significance and sacredness of the Sri Sai Padhuga worship to the humanity at large which is an ardent Seva rendered by the vast Canadian Sai Devotees at the Feet of Bhagawan. The devotional spirit and dedication of the Canadian Sai Devotees to conduct the Sri Sai Padhuga Pooja every year is an appreciable factor. Though we are in India on the day of the Holy Pooja function our minds are fully dwelling upon the entire rituals of the Sri Sai Padhuga Pooja being conducted at TORONTO. The Sri Sai Padhuga Trust was established by my Father late P.S.A. Subramaniam Chettiar who was the founder President of the Trust, a decade ago for propagating the significance of Sri Sai Padhuga worship to the world community and as well the Love and philosophy of Bhagawan. The Trust has the main object of issuing the Silver pairs of Padhugas of Bhagawan blessed by Him to the aspirants who seek the Padhugas. By the Divine Grace of Bhagawan the Sri Sai Padhuga Trust has now on role nearly 5500 Padhuga members who have aspired for the Divine pair of Padhugas of Bhagawan for begetting happiness and plentifulness through the worship of the Padhugas. These members are spread over every nook and corner of the world. Well the Padhugas represent the Divine whole body of Bhagawan plus His Lotus Feet. Worship of the Padhugas of Bhagawan fully equivalent to worshipping the Divine Feet of Bhagawan physically, which is known as Padha Namashkar. It may prove chaos and confusion if all the Devotees gathered for Dharshan of Bhagawan are allowed to do Padha Namashkar by our Gracious Bhagawan. This will cause great inconvenience both to our Bhagawan and as well to the Devotees. Hence our Bhagawan wished that His Devotees may worship His Padhugas equivalent to His Divine Feet by installing the Padhugas in their very Homes. Bhagawan blessed and choosed divinely Sri Sai Padhuga Trust to carry out His above wish by issuing the Padhugas blessed by Him. Bhagawan while delivering His Divine discourse on conclusion of the Sri Sai Padhuga Pratishta Mahavotsavam in the year 1996 declared as follows. 'Times New Roman'"> “Wherever My Padhugas are worshipped I shall be there Myself”. “Hence make proper of use of this rare opportunity granted to you.” Through the above declaration Bhagawan has emphasized that the divinity and serenity of Bhagawan are enshrined in His sacred Padhugas. Our Bhagawan is the indweller of His sacred Padhugas. Our Beloved Bhagawan says whenever I seek His Gracious permission at the commencement of each year for the issue of Padhugas, “spread the Aananda of Sri Sai Padhuga worship to more and more people of the whole world.” This reveals the Divine wish of Bhagawan that His Devotees should live happily and prosperously through the worship of His Divine Padhugas. The Feet of the Holy and elderly men contain all their powers lying concentrated at the feet. During marriages in India the bridal couples fall at the Feet of their parents and other elderly relatives to seek their full Blessings for a happy and prolonged wedlock. When one comes across a religious scholar or a grate sage or very aged relatives he bows his head to touch the Feet of such persons so as to receive their Grace and copious Blessings for happiness and plentifulness in life. Ordinarily when a man falls at the Feet of us we incline to show mercy upon the man. Thus even a person who has committed a wrong to us falls at our Feet and begs for Pardon our heart really melts we pardon the wrong done and fully forget the wrong acts done by Him. The students when they finally leave the school fall at the Feet of their revered teachers to earn their blessings for their success and happiness. The Hindu gods shower their Mercy upon the Devotees who fall at their Divine Feet for worship. Most of the Hindu Gods have the Divine poisture as shown below. Their right hand will be in a rise up position with palms outward symbolizing the Blessings to the Devotees. While God’s left hand will be pointing towards their Divine Feet. This poisture exposes the God’s desire that people should first worship His Divine Feet so as to receive His copious Blessings through the right hands. Biologically also in every human being the blood runs from the Feet to the head. So the Feet is an important organ for sustenance of the life of a man. The blood starts its flow from the Feet to go upwards. Hence the Feet contain the potential powers of man. The Feet supports the entire physical body. The Padhugas of Bhagawan carry the Divine body and His Divine Feet. Rama was sent in exile to the forest by His Father by a cruel fate on the eve of Rama’s carnation as a king fixed by the very Father. Rama’s Brother Bharatha was asked to rule the kingdom of Ayodhia till Rama’s return after the prescribed banishment for 14 years. Bharatha proceeded to the forest and pleaded with Rama with all love to return to Ayodhia to rule the Kingdom. But lord Rama firmly refused to accept the offer of Bharatha. Lord Rama said that a dutiful son should obey the commands of Father sternly and strictly without showing any deviation. Thus Rama told Bharatha that He will return to Ayodhia only after prescribed period of banishment that is 14 years. A dejected Bharatha was standing puzzled and perplexed as what to do next. At this stage the Royal Guru Vashistar who was there advised Bharatha to seek the Padhugas of Lord Rama, which are equivalent to Lord Rama Himself. Bharatha asked for the Padhugas of Rama and Rama acceded to the request by giving His Padhugas to Bharatha. Bharatha reverentially carried the Padhugas of Lord Rama on His head and returned to the kingdom. Bharatha placed the sacred Padhugas on the throne to rule the kingdom on behalf of Lord Rama for 14years till His return after the banishment. All the subjects enjoyed prosperity and blissfulness during the rule of the Padhugas of Rama on behalf of Rama. Poet Valmki who composed Ramayana by way of poetic exaggeration and justice says that even “ Rama Himself could not have ruled the kingdom so beneficially as ruled by the Padhugas of His. The episode reveal the sacredness of the Padhugas of Lord Rama. Lord Krishna said follow my footsteps to find me and reach me. As we all know Lord Krishna was fond of butter and was stealing butter from many households. Lord Krishna’s Divine Mother wanted to catch Lord Krishna red handed while stealing butter one day so she searched for Krishna in every house. But she could not locate the Lord. In one of the house while stealing the butter hurriedly Lord Krishna accidentally split a large chunk of butter on the floor from the pot. While running from that house Lord ran over the spilt up butter on the floor, which left a trail of His foot prints in the path He ran over. Now Yashodha noticed these Divine footprints and followed the footprints, which led into a house where the Lord was hiding and thus located the Lord. Then the Lord said to His Mother If you follow the footsteps of mine then ultimately you will reach me. This is a Divine message. Our Bhagawan also asks us to follow His footsteps so as to lead a life vouched with Sathya and Dharma, which Bhagawan wishes every one of us to adhere. We shall certainly fulfill the Holy wish of Bhagawan through the worship of His Divine Padhugas through which His Benevolent Grace is sought to lead a happy and righteous life. Bhagawan’s immense love is conveyed through the Padhugas. During the Sri Sai Padhuga Pooja the vibrations emanated from the Padhugas purifies the mind of every Devotees to lead a Dharmic life with contentment and happiness. The vibrations of Padhugas cleanse the entire surrounding atmosphere from any impurities and drives away the evil forces prevailing. Hence the ardent Sai Devotees of Canada are truly propagating the divinity and serenity involved in the conduct of Sri Sai Padhuga Pooja to the humanity by conducting the Sri Sai Padhuga Pooja annually for the 5th year un succession. At this stage I may be permitted to mention about the recent leelas of Bhagawan in regard to His Padhugas. a) A member form Kerala recently received the Divine pair of Padhuga from us. While walking in the street he met another Sai Devotee who informed that Swamy has visited your home and go and see. The member got surprised and ran to his house. He could not belive his eyes on what he saw Vibuthi was continuously flowing from the Divine Padhugas in heaps indicating Swamy presence. The member got bewildered and asked me to clarify about this. Then I explained to him that this event is a Sai leela played by Swami to bless you and family through His Divine presence. b) A member from USA who is a native of Bangalore city received the Divine pair of Padhuga of Swamy very recently at Trayee Brindavan from me. As this member had to undergo a long Business tour be gave the sacred Padhugas to his Aunt residing in Bangalore asking her to keep the Padhugas safely till he return from the tour. Now this revered lady without knowing the sacredness of Padhugas packed the Padhugas tightly and put in an Almyrah. Then in the night Swamy appeared in her dreams and asked her “why you have tied up me and put inside an Almyrah. Of course she ignored what Swamy said in her dream without understanding the significance of Swamy’s question. The following night also Swamy appeared and repeated the same question. Now the lady got some fear about Swamy and prayed to Swamy to pardon her if she had committed any wrong towards Swamy. Again Swamy appeared in the dream in the night and explained to her that she has kept His Padhugas locked up without worshipping the Padhugas and commander her to place the Padhugas in the Pooja room and worship the Padhugas. This lady also contacted me and explained to us about Swamy’s appearance in her dream. Then she was clarified that Padhugas represented the Divine body and Divine Feet of Bhagawan and such should not kept locked inside a Almyrah. The lady is now worshipping the Padhugas reverentially till they are returned to her nephew the Padhuga member. The above two incidents exhibit to us that Bhagawan plays His leela at times to reveal the greatness of the Padhugas. Myself the office Bearers and the esteemed Executive Committee members of the Sri Sai Padhuga Trust convey the happiness and the heartiest thanks to respectful Sai Brother Shiva Chellia and the others who are closely associating with him in the conduct of Sri Sai Padhuga Pooja. We all fervently wish that this sacred Pooja ceremony may be continued years after year with the Divine Grace of Bhagawan. Roman'"> May our Beloved Bhagawan show His Divine presence during the Sri Sai Padhuga ceremony 1st July 04 in some form or other and shower His profuse Blessings upon all the Devotees assembled to do the Pooja. May our Benign Bhagawan shower His Benevolent Grace and Blessings upon the entire country of Canada for its continued March towards peace and plentifulness in the long years to come. Jai Sai Ram.
