Morning

 

In the morning Swami came at 7:45 a.m. in the Red Golf cart and got

down in front of the lobby and sat on the sofa. All the devotees

assembled had a very good Darshan while swami was enjoying the

chanting of Vedas.

 

At 8:15 a.m. Swami's sofa was moved to His (interview) Room. Bhajans

were held from 9:00 a.m. to 9:25 a.m. After the Bhajans, Swami

returned to Poornachandra Hall.

 

Afternoon

 

In the afternoon, Swami came at 3:30 p.m. and got down from the golf

cart near the interview room and went inside His Room. He came out

at 3:45 p.m. Swami then asked Vice Chancellor of Sri Sathya Sai

Institute of Higher Learning (SSIHL) to speak. Vice chancellor said

that more focus will be given for Value education and hence the

module on 'awareness' is being revamped and renamed as 'Dharma' for

the all the students both at the under graduate level and the post

graduate level. The University will also be starting on M.Phil

program shortly on the topic with accent on "My Life is My Message".

He spoke till 4:30 p.m. Sri Sanjay Mahalingam, who has just passed

out of MBA course was the next speaker. He spoke till 4:45 p.m.

 

Bhajans started at 4:45 p.m. and went on till 5:15 p.m. Mangala

Aarathi was performed and swami returned to Poornachandra Hall.

Events at Prashanthi Nilayam - 07 Jun 2004

 

Swami left Brindavan at 6.10 am and arrived at Sai Kulwant Hall at

9.10 am. From yesterday, parthi was bristling with activity. The

local Samithi had decorated the entire street from the arch near the

General Hospital to the Gopuram with rangoli, welcome arches and

mango leaves thoranam (pennants)

 

Devotees gathered at the Sai Kulwant hall from 8.30 am. At 9 am the

Bhajans started. At 9.10 am swami's grey Benz car entered the Ashram

with the students chanting vedas, primary school boys doing a bangra

dance and Swami drove straight to the Mandir and got down near the

interview room. Mangala Aarathi was performed and Swami went inside

the interview room. After spending 30 minutes with some people

inside the room, Swami left in the same car straight to

Poornachandra hall through the gathering of the lady devotees.

 

Swami came in the Red Golf cart at 3.40 pm in the afternoon and got

down near the interview room and walked to the lobby and sat down on

the sofa. Veda chanting was going on. Till 4.30, He let the devotees

have Darshan and left the lobby and went to His room in the mandir.

Bhajans started at 5 pm and Swami sat in the Bhajan hall during the

Bhajans. After mangala Aarathi at 5.25 pm, He left for Poornachandra

Hall by the same golf cart.
